Garage Interviews was initiated by staff of the Museum's ever‑growing media archive. It brings together interviews with artists, art historians, and curators about artistic practices, attitudes toward art, and personal careers. Conversations embrace both the “stars” of the 1990s and emerging contemporary artists. The project aims to support the continuity of knowledge and materials on the history of contemporary Russian art and to establish connections between the events of the 1990s, the 2000s, and the present day.
Materials resulting from the Garage Interviews project are kept in Garage Archive Collection. To access them, please complete the form.
