Olga Shirokostup Archive
The archive contains materials related to Olga Shirokostup’s art and curating projects in the 2010s and 2020s.
Olga Shirokostup is an independent curator, art scholar, artist, and teacher. From 2010 to 2013 she was a cultural projects coordinator at Fabrika Center for Creative Industries (Moscow) and from 2014 to 2017 she ran the Field Research program at Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and taught at Garage Academy. She has been exhibiting since 2007. From 2021 to 2022 she was chief curator at Siyanie Center for Contemporary Art (Apatity, Murmansk Oblast).
The archive includes documents and ephemera related to Olga Shirokostup’s projects, including installation and performance sketches. It also holds materials related to the activities of the Creative Research Cooperative Krasnaya Shpana who set themselves the task of revisiting the role of the avantgarde in the history of art. The archive also features Shirokostup’s correspondence with artists Antonina Baever, Karina Karaeva, and Anna Khodorkovskaya and materials from the CINE FANTOM Film Club, where Shirokostup was a contributor to the eponymous newspaper.Search the collection
