Description
The book tells a story about anti‑fascist “43 Group” and consists of memoirs of its activities, written by one of its organizers and leaders. The group was formed in London in March 1946 by 43 people — 37 Jewish ex‑servicemen, one Gentile, and five women. Its aim was to combat the fascist movement in postwar Britain, especially the rabidly antisemitic British Union of Fascists, led by Oswald Mosley, and its successor, the Union Movement. The appendixes of this book contain brief biographies of the postwar fascist leaders in Britain, and lists of fascist periodicals, organizations, and book clubs throughout Britain.
