This paper forestalls the edition of collections devoted to the history of professional architecture training in Moscow from the mid 18th century to the present time. These collections are prepared by the Museum of the Moscow School of Architecture attached to MARCHI. The Museum collects materials and carries out research work devoted to the study of the history of Moscow architectural educational establishments. The material collected by the museum makes it possible to reveal and analyse the system of training, methods and curricula. The collection will contain: historical information and data on individual educational establishments, description of funds of big collections, lists and biographies of alumni and teachers of Moscow schools, etc. The first book contains historical data on the development of Moscow architectural educational establishments (1749–1995).
