Born in Germany. 1967 Diploma in Russian and French/Institute of Translation and Interpreting, University of Heidelberg. 1979-80 School of Visual Arts and Art Students League/Graphics, New York. 1981 Guest student at the Hochschule fur Angewandte Kunst/Costume Design, Vienna ‘Lessons in seeing’ — travels to China, Egypt, France, Indonesia, Japan, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Tunisia, Ukraine and the USA Has lived and worked in Vienna since 1981; 1992-94 in Berlin; 2007-08 in Shaoxing, China.
