This book is an updated edition of “The Book as Art: Artists' Books from the National Museum of Women in the Arts”, first printed to accompany the major exhibition of artist's books in 2006. This new edition presents more than one hundred artist's books form the NMWA's collection. The publication includes foreword by Susan Fisher Sterling, director of NMWA, and essays by Krystina Wasserman, Audrey Niffenegger, Johanna Drucker.
