Art for Education: Contemporary Artists from Pakistan

This book was published for the occasion of “Art for Education: Contemporary Artists from Pakistan”, the first group survey exhibition of Pakistani contemporary artists in Italy. Held at a prestigious museum in Milan, this groundbreaking show was curated by two renowned South Asian art writers and specialists Salima Hashmi and Rosa Maria Falvo. The book, and the exhibition it accompanies, showcases 60 Pakistani artists, internationally acclaimed and talented emerging, who have donated their artworks to support high quality education for children across Pakistan. The book features artists' statements and biographies as well as 60 colour plates documenting the donated artworks.
