Kino wie noch nie / Cinema like never before

This work features the following artists: Hartmut Bitomsky, Gustav Deutsch, Antje Ehmann, Harun Farocki, Isabell Heimerdinger, Astrid Kuver, Constanze Ruhm, Krassimir Terziev, Nadim Vardag, Klaus Wyborny, and Stephen Zepke. It includes essays by Raymound Bellour, Hartmut Bitomsky, Marc Ries, and Stephen Zepke. “Cinema Like Never Before” compiles artistic and analytical practices that expand thought on cinema and contribute to understanding film differently. For this, film images are processed in a certain way or arranged differently allowing them to offer information about themselves. The exhibition at Generali Foundation, Vienna, thematizes archetypes and recurring patterns in film history and examines the determinants and perception conditions of cinema.
