In 2024, Alexandra Mitlyanskaya transferred the materials that formed her archive to the mediatheque of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Art. The core of the archive consists of her video works, made between 1998 and 2023. It also contains video and photo documentation of her exhibitions of various years and booklets and invitations from various periods of her practice.
Alexandra Mitlyanskaya (b. 1958, Moscow) is a media and graphic artist, painter, and teacher. She graduated in fine art from Moscow Institute of Print in 1981. She has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1989. In 1995, she received a grant from the Berlin Academy of Arts. Her works explore time and temporality and comprise everyday scenes, landscapes, and still lifes. The moving image in her work references the traditions of classical painting. She lives and works in Moscow.
