In 2020, CC19 began to develop research activities by gathering archival materials on artistic processes in Novosibirsk. The core of the archive comprises digital copies of videos, photographs, posters, and press releases from Novosibirsk’s contemporary art from the late 1980s to the present. The archive includes dossiers of artists of the last Soviet and first post‑Soviet generations, including Sergei Bespamyatnykh, Yanina Boldyreva, Dmitry Bulnygin, Aleksey Grishchenko, Artem Loskutov, Vyacheslav Mizin, Mayana Nasybullova, Konstantin Skotnikov, and others. CC19 also collects archival materials from institutions such as Green Pyramid Gallery, Le Vall Gallery, White Cube Gallery, No Soap Gallery, Kondratyuk Foundation, Siberian Centre of Contemporary Art (SCCA), and less known artistic self‑organizations and initiatives. A particular focus of the archive is the collection of materials on interdisciplinary artistic practices, which developed rapidly in Western Siberia in the 1990s.
