Thematic selections

This section includes selections of archive materials from various collections in the RAAN catalogue that are brought together based on theme, genre or movement.

This umbrella unification is used as a tool for analyzing the archive collections of RAAN participants (various institutions or independent cultural figures) and revealing the connections within and between them, leading to the conceptualization and interpretation of events in the art world at various times.

By bringing together a large quantity of materials into a common and often broad optic, the RAAN archivists underline existing chronological and inter‑genre frameworks for researching cultural processes in the international and Russian internal contexts or propose new ones.
